Hi I think its great that we’ve got shopping centres now but lets not forget the individual craftsperson and praise their endless hours designing, creating and nurturing wonderful items for us to buy. Social media is a great place to advertise your skill and with this post I’d like to express my gratitude to the following artists for pursuing their dreams in a cut throat world. Adien Crafts (handcrafted jewellery maker specialising in using semi-precious stones) I have purchased from Adien Crafts many times and have received excellent service, beautifully wrapped stunning pieces of jewellery. Diane at Adien is also happy to do commissions and design an item to match a specific outfit of clothing. Here is a picture of a recent new addition to Adien Crafts range of jewellery.

Soap-Dodger make the most gorgeous handmade products using the freshest ingredients possible, no parabens and no animal testing of their products. Here is a picture of one of the lovely new wax melt burners with some of the fragranced wax melts available from them.

They are a unique gift item for any book lover. A4 bands are also available suitable for larger books and I’ve used my larger bandz for a cookery book. Karen is very happy to seek out specific charms for your requirements and use beads in your favourite colours. I’d like to share a picture of my latest order from Bookbandz which I am looking forward to receiving.

  1. Hello 🙂 I had not heard of BookBands before what a beautiful gift I will be getting my mum one for mothering Sunday it is the perfect mix of books and crafts which are two things she loves! What a clever idea for cook books too! I would recomend a crafter who sells on eBay her name is Julie McAllister and she makes beautiful hand painted furnitre knobs. Her eBay username is juliem1492 and this is a link to her ebay shop http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/juliem1492/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
She makes beautiful Moroccan style knobs and will also make knobs to order they ave such vivid colours and an incredible finish. She made some for a dresser for us to match the colour and pattern of the wallpaper. We were so happy with them. She even ordered a sample of the wallpaper from the suppliers so she could match te colours perfectly.
