Former tennis player Easton Bradbury is trying to be the best teacher she can be, trying to reach her bored students, trying to forget her past. What brought her to this stage in her life isn’t important. She can’t let it be. But now one parent-teacher meeting may be her undoing . . .

Meeting Tyler Marek for the first time makes it easy for Easton to see why his son is having trouble in school. The man knows how to manage businesses and wealth but not a living, breathing teenage boy. Or a young teacher, for that matter, though he tries to. And yet…there is something about him that draws Easton in-a hint of vulnerability, a flash of attraction, a spark that might burn.

Wanting him is taboo. Needing him is undeniable. And his long-awaited touch will weaken Easton’s resolve – and reveal what should stay hidden . . .

I’d like to thank the publishers for an arc in return for an honest review.

I loved this seductive, sexy, gripping story.  It left my heart thudding with the intense chemistry between the main characters and also the drama held within the storyline.

Easton was in her first year of teaching at high school.  Her teaching techniques were fresh and interesting which caught the students’ imagination.  Easton’s teaching techniques however, came under scrutiny especially with one particular parent, Tyler Marek.  Tyler was a self-made millionaire but had been an absent parent to his son up until recently.  Easton and Tyler had briefly met months ago at a Masquerade Ball.  Since then Tyler has been unable to get Easton out of his mind.  When both Easton and Tyler discover that they have feelings burning up inside for each other they are afraid to ‘let the flame burn’ due to Easton being Tyler’s sons teacher.  Easton is also trying to move on with her life after a terrifying and tragic ordeal in her past.  Can she let the demons from her past go?  Tyler’s life starts spinning out of control and he has to decide what is most important.

This was a brilliant, sexy page turner of a book with a twist in the tale that left me stunned.  I couldn’t get enough of Easton and Tyler.  A stunning 5/5* read.
