  1. Hello Adele, I was wondering whether you might consider reviewing either one or both of my current two books? They’re both Chicklit and although stand on their own two feet, they are a series. I’ve followed you on twitter, so maybe if you follow back, I can send you the links to my books, rather than clutter up your blog 🙂 Wouldn’t want to offend… Have a great day 🙂 Best wishes Colette

  2. Love your blog! I, too, am into crafts and shopping, etc. I knit hats and scarves that nobody wears, and watercolor (badly…but I keep trying!)

I am also a writer, and also a member of Book Connectors. Is that a great spot or what?

I am wondering if you would be interested in reviewing my newly released book, The Vanished Bride of Northfield House? It is historical fiction, a romantic mystery that includes a ghost.

Synopsis: The Vanished Bride of Northfield House presents a rich tapestry of family lore, dark secrets, and forbidden love.

The story involves love, loss, and new beginnings. Lyrical and haunting, the story of Anne Chatham unfolds against the social and political upheaval following the first World War. Recently orphaned, she arrives at a dark, troubled English country estate having newly acquired the technical skill of the age, the ability to typewrite.

It is a creepy supernatural gothic tale with a spirited heroine, intriguing mystery, engaging romance, and a ghost to make it lively. The story is a mix of mystery and romance with touches of supernatural spookiness and gothic horror.
All the characters in The Vanished Bride are haunted, either by disappointment, the unresolved past, unmet desire, or guilt. This is a psychological thriller where the details unfold bit by bit, death by death.

I would be grateful to have a review on your blog. I can also offer other content, guest posts, interviews, character interviews, etc. My publisher can send you a hard copy or electronic version of the book if you are interested. Please provide a preference for which version and an address to send it to.

thanks so much! See you on Book Connectors!

  6. Dear Adele,
I’ve just discovered your delightful book blog. I see that you’re a fan of romance and was wondering if you’d like to read my newest fantasy romance, Incandescence. It’s the first installment in Shadowlight series and can be read as a standalone. The blurb follows.
Orobella is a cosmic wanderer, living borrowed lives in borrowed bodies. Her mission on planet Instaar is the same as always—collecting Crystals of Emotions while having as much fun as her new physical form allows, no strings attached. But once she meets the hypnotically mysterious Sambor, both her body and soul yearn for more. She makes him an offer he can’t refuse.
In the world where creatures of death and darkness drive men mad, emotional detachment has been Sambor’s greatest life achievement. As the future leader of the Lasota tribe and a spiritual tattoo artist, he can’t afford the luxury of mental weakness. Yet his meticulously constructed equilibrium is shaken up when an alluring nymph promises to save his baby sister in exchange for a sacred Lasota tattoo. He can’t say no. Even if that means his demons will get the best of him.
Filled with elemental magic, spirit animals, psychic terror, and a whole lot of steaminess, this romantic fantasy is more than a love story. It’s a journey through a soul.
I would love to send you an ARC of my book in exchange for your honest review on Amazon and Goodreads and a post featuring my book on your blog and social media. Please let me know if you’d be interested. My Twitter handle is ElenaLemanBooks (I follow you).
    Best,
    Elena
